Grant Goodvin

Through 30 years of experience, Grant Goodvin has developed a passion for helping keep families united and their businesses perpetually viable. This is the reason he founded Family Industry Consultants based in Wichita, Kansas and offers relevant services on a national scale. Grant helps each member of the family understand his/her individual value. In addition, he assists the family and non-family managers in process and organizational strategies. Grant's background has equipped him to evaluate and suggest methods to communicate and establish contingency plans for continued family ownership.

Grant graduated from law school in 1978. He practiced law for 12 years. Since 1978, he was involved in several family businesses. The businesses ranged from manufacturing and construction to insurance, advertising and real estate development.

Grant has experienced the dynamics of working with parents, children, siblings and extended family. He knows and understands the conflicts and successes of working with family. He enjoys a peaceful relationship with all the family members he has worked with.
